Beginner Courses...

All our members have completed an approved G.N.A.S. beginner's course either at this club or elsewhere. This is a requirement before anyone can shoot or be accepted as a full member of any club.

Beginner lessons are available all year round for people from the age of eight upwards. Juniors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult whilst attending the Club.
During the Indoor season lessons are held at Botany Ave 4.30pm till 6.00pm on Sunday afternoons.
During the Outdoor season lessons are held at King George V Sports Ground 4:30pm till 6:00pm on Sunday afternoons, the same as at our indoor venue.

A beginners course consists of six lessons. Each lesson lasts for an hour and half. Each beginner will be coached by a fully qualified Grand National Archery Society Coach and have the full use of the Club’s equipment during lessons.
We can also arrange Corporate Evenings, Group bookings for Scouts, Youth Clubs and other similar organisations. Summer Fete’s, fund raising events and charity shoots at either our Indoor or Outdoor venues depending on the time of year.
